Friendship House Residential Support Provider
Friendship House Residential Provider- part time
part-time, non-exempt Provider will work with individuals having intellectual disabilities in Friendship House. Major duties include training, assisting, supervising and monitoring progress of the consumer. Applicant must possess the ability to work with individuals who require considerable assistance in activities of daily living. To be considered, applicants must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation and required limits of automobile liability insurance (if transporting client). Limited benefits available. Shifts needed: Overnight Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma is preferred. Experience in similar settings is preferred. Certification in CPR, basic first aid, and medication administration is also required but can be obtained upon hire. Pay: $8.62 per hour
IT Manager
Major duties include overseeing the ongoing development and maintenance of AHCS electronic health record system. Audits data accuracy and collection; reports management information systems (MIS) changes; ensures individualized client data elements comply with State requirements. Coordinates with program directors, supervisors and quality improvement service utilization data. Responsible for hardware/software maintenance, research projects, studies and surveys.
full-time Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Merryfield Home Residential Support Provider
MR Direct Care Provider provides services to adults with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities. This staff position is responsible to manage, supervise and provide direct care to individuals in the residential facility converting to an ICF MR. As a member of a training and care team, the ICF-MR Care Provider facilitates the continuity of care across all shifts and promotes smooth and efficient program and facility operation. The incumbent will assist with the assessment, development, and implementation of the individual program plans, independence and skills acquisition. The ICF-MR Direct Care Provider uses a variety of teaching and reinforcement techniques and strategies designed to meet the individuals’ daily needs delineated in a plan of active treatment. The incumbent is a positive role model for community integration and acceptance, exercises sound judgment, performs all job functions in a professional manner, is aware of the importance of consistency in service delivery to enhance a positive outcome, and provides opportunities for inclusion into community life.

Residential Supervisor- Friendship House
Residential Supervisor needed for Friendship House where residential services are provided to individuals who have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disability. Duties include developing & implementing individual service plans, working effectively with families & significant others of individuals, supervising direct support staff, providing training for staff, ensuring quality care & documentation required by licensure and AHCS, regular on-site supervision of staff and experience with person-centered planning/thinking. Must be organized, be able to multi-task and document clearly. Experience working with individuals with ID, program management, and staff supervision preferred. Flexibility of hours required.
full-time exempt Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred. QMRP/QIDP eligible preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. The role of the Adult Day Care Registered Nurse is to work with participants who may have an aging disability or intellectual disability. Responsible for administering and monitoring the health needs of the participants. Positively interact with adults and staff, maintain records and communicate effectively, and working independently with minimal supervision. General duties include guiding and serving as a resource to on-site staff and carry out all duties in a professional, courteous, efficient and timely manner while exercising sound judgment in all decisions. Must demonstrate initiative and work with families, care givers and other significant people in the participant’s life.

Major duties include providing intake assessments and counseling in an expedient manner to individuals needing intensive treatment in order to decrease emergency contacts and provide hospital diversion and prevent

Qualifications: Must be licensed or license eligible (within 1 year) in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a licensed Clinical Psychologist. Must have knowledge and experience in mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment, DSM knowledge, and treatment planning. |
